Pastor's Message
We celebrated our 27th Church Anniversary in May 2024. The church is located in Dataran Prima in PJU1. Our church is moderate in number of people and this enhances the fellowship and warmth among people.
The vision of the church is to fulfill the Great Commission of Christ (Matthew 28:18-20) and especially to make disciples who obey Christ and in turn disciple others.
The mission of the church is to lead people to know and believe in Christ and desire each Christian to mature spiritually and serve in church and into the world.
We have our Sunday worship service at 9:00am and also a Mandarin service every Saturday at 5:30pm.
We encourage you to join us not only for our worship services but also for our Care Group (CG) meetings during the week. Since the pandemic years, many of these meetings are online for convenience especially since it is difficult for working people in the Klang Valley to meet at one location late at night. However, periodically, the CGs have a physical meeting that may be a lunch or dinner. The Scriptures talk much about togetherness and mutual growth. There are CGs catering to young adults, adults and senior adults too.
The church has Girls’ Brigade (GB) and Boys’ Brigade (BB) for children aged twelve and above. These youth ministries have been instrumental over the years to shape and develop our children particularly those from schools nearby into responsible and loving adults. One objective is for the youth to come to know Christ personally.
Sunday School Ministry and Youth Ministry is held late mornings in the church. It has been a drawing point for the love of God to be seen by adult family members. There are many other ministries in the church like the Methodist Seniors Fellowship and ALPHA ministry that are vibrant and strong at EMC.
The Bible emphasises that love is the greatest of all. At the end of the day, we at EMC want people to love God dearly and learn to genuinely love one another. Through strong bonds of love, we can overcome our differences and join our hands together to reach out to the world in love. We really need to transform our society and nation and we at EMC will do our part toward this.
Blessings unto you,
