OUR VISION
Fulfillment of the Great Commission in intentional disciple making of all nations (Scriptural basis: Matthew 28:18-20)
OUR MISSION
To lead people to Jesus Christ and mature them through intentional discipleship and disciple making for ministry in the church and the world
OUR VALUES
Ephesians 4:20-22 (The Message)
But that’s no life for you. You learned C.H.R.I.S.T.! My assumption is that you have paid careful attention to him, been well instructed in the truth precisely as we have it in Jesus. Since, then, we do not have the excuse of ignorance, everything—and I do mean everything—connected with that old way of life has to go. It’s rotten through and through. Get rid of it! And then take on an entirely new way of life—a God-fashioned life, a life renewed from the inside and working itself into your conduct as God accurately reproduces his character in you.
C
Christ – The Lordship of Christ (Philippians 2:9-11)
Jesus Christ is preeminent over all of creation and is above all. He is also known as the Almighty God and we His followers need to present ourselves in total submission to the King of kings and Lord of lords. A heart that is totally subject to His Lordship will overflow in a life of obedience to the heart of God in all matters.
H
Honour – The being of God (Mark 12:29-31): The Worship of God
God in all His attributes is beyond all that we are or will ever be. He is in a class of His own and all honour is due to Him as the self-existent One and Creator of all things. We come to Him acknowledging His inherent worth and worthiness to be worshipped. And as we worship Him, we recognize who He is in glorifying Him, and who we are as we place ourselves in His hands as He glorifies us to become who we are not yet. And we honor each other because God honors us in His work in our lives.
R
Redemption – The grace of God in our brokenness (Psalm 51:10, 17): The Work of God
God desires a broken and contrite heart, a heart that sees our own brokenness in light of God’s perfection. Yet it is a heart that increasingly understands the grace of God in taking what is broken and heals it and in the process of being healed, He sends the wounded healer out to fulfill His call in the believer to this broken world.
I
Intimacy – Community of relationships (1 Peter 3:8-9): The Way of God
Relational intimacy is the core of a true community reflecting the community of the Godhead. Such communities provide a context for a hospitable space for transparency, healing, and restoration. Growth of is accelerated when we live in a community of people who have entered into an eternal covenant with God.
S
Stewardship – Responsibility in handling resources (Matthew 25:21): The Wonder of God
“God’s work done in God’s way will not lack God’s supply” (Hudson Taylor). It is a wonder to see how God provides in unexpected ways and from unexpected sources to supply resources for His work. And He calls us to be good stewards of the resources He entrusts to us. As we learn to be responsible stewards of all His resources, He expands our territory of stewardship to entrust us with greater things and launching further into His vision.
T
Truth – Rightly handling the truth of God (Hebrews 4:12): The Word of God
God is truth. As we seek to submit ourselves to the authority of God and His Word, the truth of God will be anchored firmly in our lives. We will not have any qualms living out the Word of God in our lives and allowing the Word to have full sway in our lives and all that we do. Obedience to the Word of God will be a natural way of life and second nature to us which will then result in transformation of life.
